Old compositing project

Although I would rather experiment with digital painting for this painting, I have done a few pieces of compositing in photoshop.  This piece we had to scan in objects we owned and create a piece of artwork out of the various items.  Not only that but we had to change the color scheme.

These colors are much warmer.  This one I love far more than the muted one.  It's called Circus.

Although this pieces colors are muted it seems oddly more "realistic".  The green scarf reminds me of rolling hills and the gray scarf as the farthest background a rainy day.  It's called Dream.

Matte Painting Doodle #2

Another idea - an underwater setting.  It would be bright and vibrant.
Something similar to this but much more detailed.  Still not too keen on the idea but may experiment with it at some point.

Matte Painting Doodles

First idea for a matte painting.  Very simple.  Done on a tablet in photoshop.  The tree in the front would be the piece that moves the fastest, followed by a strip of the land, then the little trees, the large mountain, and then the sky in that order.  Not final idea though.

Finally Breaking This In...

I'm not much of a blogger but who knows, maybe I'll fall in love with it as time goes by?  This blog will be used to show my overall progress in not only EDW but in my artwork as time goes by.  I hope you enjoy and please give feedback!
